Case vs. Frontex to Disclose the OLAF Report

Court of Justice of the European Union, April 2022

At the end of April 2022, front-LEX submitted an urgent motion to the Court of Justice of the European Union asking it to order Frontex to disclose the OLAF report.

The report implicates three Frontex senior officials in potentially serious crimes, including complicity in and the concealment of pushbacks. Although this report is the first confirmation by the EU’s own investigative agency of both the systematic and widespread commission of ‘pushbacks’ and the complicity of Frontex in this policy, it has been withheld from the public and the EU Parliament for months.

front-LEX also works on a number of Freedom of Information requests in connection with the OLAF report, collaborating with Frag Den Staat
