Karl-Heinz JOBST was born in Straubing in 1950, graduated in geodesy and geoinformation engineering (FH) by profession, has been active in local and regional politics for many years. He was a parliamentary adviser in the opposition of the Bavarian State Parliament from 2009 to 2020 and for a member of parliament, mainly on social and environmental policy issues.
From 2017 to 2019, he was a member of the committee Inquiry “Actively shaping and steering integration in Bavaria” of the Bavarian Parliament. Since 2013, he has been volunteering at the environmental centre Öko & Fair in Gauting with Christiane Lüst on the topics of human rights, sustainability, the economy of the common good and much more.
In recent years, the focus has been on supporting projects for the integration of refugees in southern Italy.
