Who and What?

front-LEX is a non-governmental organisation (NGO). We make the violation of refugees’ and migrants’ rights visible to all, by holding those responsible to account.

We file lawsuits in international and national courts (ongoing lawsuits/legal department) and we are organising the Brussels Tribunal, which is held as a civil society tribunal. front-LEX is funded by donations from individuals and foundations.

front-LEX Mission

We demand a European migration and asylum policy that respects human dignity. European and national asylum and migration policies are based on fear, rejection and hatred. They disregard all values of humanity. Such a Europe is not ours.

We condemn the policy of sealing off Europe and the systematic violence against migrants and refugees on both sides of the European borders. We denounce the impunity of those responsible for these crimes and We denounce the people who design and implement these criminal policies.

We are convinced Europeans and we want an open and philanthropic Europe that observes and protects with strength and integrity its fundamental values and obligations in terms of human rights of all people.
